WakeMed is seeking an Occupational Health Nurse to lead health and safety programs across all WakeMed facilities. The role includes nursing care, vaccine administration, disease surveillance, and case management for work-related injuries.

Ideal candidates hold RN licensure and a nursing degree, with 2 years in ambulatory care or 1 year in occupational health/HR. This on-site role supports WakeMed employees, staff, contractors, and volunteers.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required.
• Graduate Nursing required; Bachelor's in Nursing preferred.
• 2 years clinical experience in ambulatory care or 1 year occupational health/HR experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Administers vaccines and health surveillance programs.
• Provides direct nursing care to patient population.
• Counsels employees in illness, injury management and prevention.
• Serves as case manager for occupational injuries/illnesses and the return‑to‑work process.
