Job summary
Concentra is seeking a Physician Assistant/ Nurse Practitioner to provide primary medical direction in an occupational health setting. You will exam, diagnose, treat, and educate patients while coordinating care under medical protocols.
Qualified candidates will hold PA/NP credentials with board certification, and have experience in occupational medicine or willingness to be trained. The role offers a strong compensation package, performance bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related health field and licensure in the state
- Graduate of PA or NP program and board certification
- FMCSA NRCME and DEA requirements prior to start date
Responsibilities
- Examines patient and compiles patient medical data
- Administers or orders diagnostic tests (x-ray, ECG, labs)
- Interprets test results and manages care plans
- Performs therapeutic procedures (injections, immunizations, wound care) and patient education
- Develops patient management plans and maintains documentation
- Ensures compliance with policies and quality of care
- Delivers excellent patient experience and customer service
- Maintains HIPAA/PHI confidentiality in all interactions
- Participates in CME and ongoing clinical education
