Job summary

Abbott in Madison, WI, is seeking a Supervisor, Occupational Health Nurse to lead daily clinic operations within the Cancer Diagnostics Division. You will supervise a team of occupational health nurses and clerical staff, manage health programs, and ensure regulatory compliance in a dynamic healthcare environment.

The role requires a Wisconsin RN license, 5+ years in occupational health nursing, and strong collaboration across HR, Legal, and EHSS.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years of Occupational Health nursing experience.
Experience supervising clinical and administrative staff.
Knowledge of occupational health case management, health surveillance, and related safety fields.
Active, unrestricted RN license in Wisconsin at hire and throughout employment.
Ability to obtain and maintain compact privilege or additional license when supporting multiple jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

Lead daily clinic operations and supervise occupational health nurses and clerical staff including scheduling and development.
Provide and oversee occupational health nursing services within scope of practice, including illness/injury response and surveillance.
Administer site procedures, budgets, resources and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal requirements.
Monitor workplace health risks and implement controls via walkthroughs, hazard analyses and evaluations.
Coordinate with EHSS, HR, Benefits, Legal, Security and external providers; report accurate Occupational Health data.
