Job summary

Vital Health Care in Grand Junction, Colorado seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) and healthcare leader to serve as an Occupational Medicine Clinic Manager.

You will oversee day-to-day clinical and administrative operations of the occupational medicine clinic, lead staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive employer health services.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead daily clinical and administrative operations of the occupational medicine clinic.
• Supervise nurses, medical assistants, providers, and administrative staff.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, patient flow, clinic capacity, and resource utilization.
• Promote patient safety, quality care, teamwork, accountability, and service excellence.
• Develop and improve clinic workflows, policies, procedures, and processes.
• Monitor productivity, efficiency, patient access, and overall clinic performance.
• Partner with physicians and clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Oversee occupational health and employer health services.
• Support workers' compensation evaluations and work-related injury management.
• Oversee pre-employment physicals, screenings, DOT exams, drug and alcohol testing, return-to-work assessments.
• Build and maintain relationships with employers, insurers, external stakeholders.
• Monitor employer service quality and contractual requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve and expand occupational medicine services.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, CLIA, DOT, CDC, CMS, workers' compensation requirements.
• Support quality improvement initiatives, audits, regulatory compliance, and accreditation activities.
• Collaborate with organizational leadership on operational improvement and business growth initiatives.
