Job summary

OccuMedX is seeking a Clinical Case Manager to provide centralized clinical case management, documentation oversight, and client support across construction and industrial sites. You will manage injury and illness cases from notification to closure, coordinate follow-up and return-to-work, and serve as a clinical resource to onsite medical personnel and client stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Active clinical license (RN) required and experience in occupational health or related field.
• 3–5 years of clinical experience in injury case management or related roles is preferred.
• Experience with injury case management, chart review, and clinical documentation.
• Experience performing or overseeing drug testing and physical ability testing.
• Knowledge of OSHA, bloodborne pathogen standards, and Fit for Duty program requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including client-facing communication.
• Case management or occupational health certification (CCM, COHN, COHN-S, or similar) preferred.
• Experience supporting construction, industrial, or multi-site client environments.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems; ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Injury case management & oversight from initial notification through closure with timely follow-up.
• Coordinate with onsite medical personnel for new injuries, condition changes, and escalations.
• Escalate high-risk cases to leadership while maintaining accurate case status and follow-up.
• Support chart review, documentation quality, and adherence to clinical standards.
• Provide clinical guidance to onsite teams and coordinate with Medical Director on complex cases.
• Oversee POET programs, including drug and alcohol testing and physical ability testing.
• Review POET results and advise on work status, restrictions, or clearance within policy.
• Coordinate internal employee health follow-up and exposure response with HR/Operations.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT (where applicable), and client requirements; support audits and reporting.
