Job summary

OccuMedX is seeking a Clinical Case Manager to provide centralized management, documentation oversight, and client support across multiple construction and industrial sites. You will oversee injury and illness cases from notification through closure, coordinate follow-up and return-to-work, and ensure documentation aligns with OccuMedX standards and applicable regulations.

Qualifications

• Active clinical license (RN) required.
• Minimum 3–5 years of clinical experience in occupational health or related fields.
• Experience with injury case management, chart review, and clinical documentation.
• Experience performing or overseeing drug testing and physical ability testing.
• Knowledge of OSHA, bloodborne pathogen standards, and Fit for Duty program requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including client-facing communication.
• Case management or occupational health certification (CCM, COHN, COHN-S, or similar) preferred.
• Experience supporting construction, industrial, or multi-site client environments.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Responsibilities

• Injury Case Management & Oversight: Manage cases from notification through closure and coordinate return-to-work progress.
• Chart Review & Clinical Quality: Review charts and documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Clinical Guidance & Escalation: Serve as a clinical resource and escalate when needed.
• POET Program Oversight: Coordinate and support drug/alcohol testing and physical ability testing.
• Internal Employee Health Management: Coordinate employee injury follow-up and exposure responses.
• Compliance & Reporting: Ensure OSHA/industry compliance and track key metrics.
• Communication & Documentation: Maintain confidentiality and timely case updates.
