Job summary

OccuMedX is seeking an Athletic Trainer to provide on-site occupational health support at active construction sites, focusing on injury prevention, early intervention, and safe-work practices. You will partner with employees, site leadership, safety teams, and the OccuMedX operations team to maintain a healthy, productive workforce.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, people-centered, and able to thrive in a dynamic construction environment while delivering high-quality care and education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field.
• BOC certification as Athletic Trainer (ATC) required.
• Active BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required.
• OSHA 30 Construction certification must be obtained within 30 days (employer provided).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite injury prevention, first aid, and early intervention on construction sites.
• Conduct functional movement screenings and ergonomic assessments to identify risks.
• Educate workers on body mechanics, lifting techniques, and safe work practices.
• Maintain accurate records of medical incidents, treatments, and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with general contractors, safety managers, medics, and project leadership; report health trends to operations.
