Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, is hiring a Special Account Coordinator in Pearland, TX. You will manage occupational medicine accounts, coordinate appointments, handle billing and maintain databases, liaising with clinic operations to follow corporate protocols.

On-site initially with remote work after training, you will meet with employers, manage pricing and reports, and support ongoing service improvements. A background in customer service and CRT is helpful.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of customer service experience.
• CRT experience.
• Database management experience.
• Knowledge of insurance, billing and collection concepts.
• Ability to 10 Key by touch.
• Ability to type 30 WPM.
• Basic math ability.
• Knowledge of health insurance.
• Knowledge of MS Office products.
• Ability to utilize the internet.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Driver's license and access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Direct and daily contact and liaison for employer groups designated as Special Accounts.
• Booking appointments, posting corporate charges, maintaining employee population's database including immunization tracking.
• Attend meetings with companies to resolve issues and implement service levels.
• Ensure charges posted per contracted pricing; place orders in system; provide paperwork within 5 days post-visit to billing specialist.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the site manager.
