Job summary

Vesta Management is seeking an Occupancy Specialist for Squire Village in Manchester, CT. You will drive occupancy, handle applications, move-ins, renewals and re-certifications, and ensure compliance with LIHTC/Section 8 guidelines.

The ideal candidate has affordable housing program experience and strong resident service focus. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, retirement, time off and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of related property management or leasing office experience.
• Experience with HUD/Section 8 affordable housing programs preferred.
• COS/CPO certification preferred.
• Yardi experience preferred.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maximize occupancy and manage applications, move-ins, and lease renewals.
• Qualify applicants based on program requirements and tenant selection plan.
• Coordinate and maintain a healthy applicant waiting list.
• Calculate rent per program procedures and process leases and deposits.
• Conduct marketing outreach to communities and local employers.
• Process resident transactions and certifications in appropriate systems.
• Maintain compliance with policies, safety, and confidentiality.
