Job summary

Hebrew SeniorLife is seeking an Occupancy Specialist to manage the waiting list, respond to inquiries, lease apartments, and complete tenant certifications in accordance with HUD and local regulations. The role collaborates with the Facilities Department and staff across departments to support residents on-site.

The position requires a college degree and/or 3 years in property management, with familiarity in LIHTC, Section 8 programs, and Yardi software.

Qualifications

• College degree and/or 3 years experience in property management.

Responsibilities

• Lease apartments and manage LIHTC/Section 8 processes.
• Maintain the waiting list and ensure HUD compliance.
• Prepare annual recertifications and interim recertifications.
• Coordinate move-ins/outs with Facilities and complete related forms.
• Maintain tenant files and ensure compliance with HUD, MassHousing, and related regulations.
