AFC Urgent Care Hillsboro is hiring an Occ Med Assistant to support occupational medicine duties within the clinic. You will perform regular Medical Assistant tasks plus Occ Med specific responsibilities to ensure smooth patient care workflows.

Requires CMA training or certification, a high school diploma or GED, and 1+ year medical office experience. X-ray experience is a bonus; training for LXMO is provided in-house.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Certificate from a Certified Medical Assistant program is required; include CMA credential if possible.
• 1+ year experience in a medical office is preferred (urgent care experience is a bonus).
• X-ray experience (RT or LXMO) is a plus for the role.

Mansioni

• Assist Medical Assistants with Occ Med appointments and follow-up tasks.
• Enter Occ Med results into EMR within 24 hours of visit.
• Coordinate Occ Med results with employers per protocol.
• Manage the Occ Med scheduling queue and ensure proper authorization workflows.
• Support clinic operations and training for new Occ Med accounts.
