Job summary

Transdev North America in New Carrollton, MD is seeking an Assistant Dispatch Manager for the 24/7 OCC supporting WMATA’s Metro Access contract. You will lead a team of dispatchers, supervise daily operations, and ensure safe, reliable service to riders.

This full-time position offers a competitive compensation package: minimum $70,000 and maximum $87,000, plus health, dental, vision coverage and a 401(k). Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Dispatch Manager to lead and coach dispatchers and supervisors.
• Ensure efficient operation of the Dispatch department to meet performance targets.
• Monitor real-time operations to resolve issues promptly and maintain service quality.
• Provide timely information to passengers via phone and email.
• Collaborate with OCC managers, PAS Contractor, SDP, and WMATA staff for seamless service.
• Analyze performance metrics to identify service and process improvements.
• Stay informed on industry best practices and new dispatch technologies.
