Job summary

Intermountain Health in Montana is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Labor & Delivery, Mom/Baby (Nursery included) and NICU units on a full-time night-dominant schedule. The RN assesses, plans, implements and evaluates patient care, supervises LPNs/CNAs and participates in clinical conferences, following hospital and regulatory guidelines.

BSN is required within 4 years with Montana RN license; BLS, PALS, NRP and AWHONN fetal monitoring training within set timelines preferred; offers generous

Qualifications

• BSN required within 4 years unless 15 years of acute care service.
• Current Montana RN License is required.
• BLS Certification upon hire.
• PALS required within 9 months of hire.
• NRP required within 12 months of hire.
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess, recognize and address patients' psychological and physical needs.
• Foster quality of care with the best interests of patients and their families in mind.
• Communicate compassionately and effectively with patients and team.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and CNAs.
• Participate in clinical team conferences.
