Job summary

Intermountain Health in Montana is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery, NICU and Mom/Baby (Nursery). The role is full-time with a night-shift emphasis and occasional day shifts to meet staffing needs.

Prior OB/NICU or L&D experience is preferred, with duties spanning patient assessment, care planning, and coordination with the care team. The position requires a BSN within 4 years (or 15 years in acute care), Montana RN license, BLS, PALS, NRP, and fetal monitoring certification

Qualifications

• BSN Degree from an accredited program required within 4 years unless 15 years of acute care service.

Responsibilities

• Assess, recognize and address patients' psychological and physical needs.
• Foster quality of care with the best interests of patients and their families in mind.
• Communicate compassionately and effectively.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
• Comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and/or CNAs.
• Participate in clinical team conferences.
• Follow hospital, regulatory and professional guidelines, policies and procedures.
