Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery, Mom/Baby (Nursery included) and NICU. The role is full-time with mostly night shifts, occasional day shifts to meet staffing needs. You will assess and plan patient care, supervise LPNs/CNAs, and participate in interdisciplinary teams.

Required BSN within 4 years unless exempt; Montana RN license; BLS, PALS, NRP, and fetal monitoring certifications to be obtained within specified timeframes. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• BSN degree from an accredited program is required within 4 years unless 15 years of acute care service.
• Current Montana RN Licensure is required.
• BLS Certification required upon hire.
• PALS required within 9 months of hire/transfer.
• NRP/Neonatal Resuscitation required within 12 months of hire.
• AHWONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess, recognize and address patients' psychological and physical needs.
• Foster quality of care with the best interests of patients and their families in mind.
• Communicate compassionately and effectively.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
• Comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and/or CNAs.
• Participate in clinical team conferences.
• Follow hospital, regulatory and professional guidelines, policies and procedures.
