Job summary

Calvert Health System in Maryland is seeking an Obstetrical Technician to perform nursing assistant duties and serve as scrub role in the Operating Room. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and a Maryland CNA license, plus at least one year of OR scrub and Labor/Delivery experience.

CPR within 30 days of hire is required; the role includes maintaining unit competencies and mandatory training per GA-057 policy. Comprehensive benefits begin on the first day of the month after hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 0-6 months equivalent combination of education and experience in related area.
• Maryland CNA license required.
• Minimum of one year direct experience in OR scrub role and nursing assistant duties in Labor/Delivery, Post Partum and Newborn Nursery.
• C.N.A. through Maryland State Board of Nursing.
• CPR required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform obstetrical nursing assistant duties and scrub in the Operating Room.
• Maintain unit-specific and hospital competencies and mandatory learning as per policy GA-057 and department requirements.
