Job summary

Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) invites physicians to join our Obstetrics and Gynecology team in Cambridge, MA. The role includes care across outpatient clinics, labor and delivery, and the operating room, with opportunities to teach Harvard Medical School and Tufts students.

We offer a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment with a focus on underserved populations. The position includes a Harvard Medical School appointment at Instructor, Assistant, or Associate Professor level,

Qualifications

• BE/BC in Obstetrics and Gynecology or equivalent board eligibility
• Commitment to delivering high-quality care to a diverse, underserved patient population
• Strong clinical and communication skills, teamwork
• Ability to teach medical students and residents at affiliated institutions

Responsibilities

• Provide obstetrics/gynecology care across outpatient clinics, labor and delivery, and operating room settings
• Teach medical students and residents from HMS, Tufts and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including CNMs, family physicians, PAs, and NPs
• Participate in quality and performance improvement initiatives as applicable
• Manage a defined patient panel and accommodate new patients
• Maintain a collegial work environment with low clinician turnover

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Cambridge Health Alliance is recruiting a full timeOb/Gyn physician to join our team. At CHA, we provide a full spectrum of gynecological, obstetric,maternity and reproductive health care services to our growing patient population in Cambridge,Somervlle and Boston’s metro North region.

Opportunity Highlights

• Physician will work in various settings including at one of our three outpatient clinics, inpatient on Labor & Delivery, and in the operating room
• Physicians have the opportunity to teach medical students and residents from Harvard Medical School, Tufts University School of Medicine, and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center across all settings
• Physicians are part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team which includes Certified Nurse Midwives, Family Medicine physicians, Ob/Gyn trained Physician Assistants, and Nurse Practitioners
• Manageable call schedule
• Assume an established patient panel from diverse backgrounds and have capacity to accommodate new patients
• For those interested/experienced, opportunity to get involved with quality/performance improvement initiatives for the Department
• Collegial staff with low clinician turnover
• Position is located in Cambridge, with flexibility to practice in either Somerville or Revere if preferred
• The position carries a Harvard Medical School (HMS) appointment of Instructor, Assistant or Associate Professor, commensurate HMS appointment criteria, candidate qualifications, and commitment to teaching responsibilities.

The full time guaranteed base salary range of $250,000-$330,000is based on years of experience. Total compensation includes base salary plus production incentive.
