Job summary

Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center is seeking a Certified Obstetric Surgical Technologist to join a collaborative obstetric and surgical team. You will prepare the surgical suite, assist during procedures, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the obstetric experience.

Qualifications

• Must obtain Basic Life Support, CPR, or CST certification within 30 days of employment.
• Certification as CST or Surgical Technologist is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the surgical suite and organize instruments, equipment, and supplies for obstetric procedures.
• Assist with patient positioning, prepping, and draping while maintaining comfort and safety.
• Provide instruments and hands-on support to the surgical team during obstetric procedures.
• Maintain a sterile field, perform counts, and verify instruments and equipment function.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to deliver patient-centered obstetric care.
