Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Surgical Technologist experience preferred.
• Graduate of a Surgical Technology program and certified.
• Current BCLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Plans for and scrubs assigned surgical procedures per standards.
• Participates in on-call rotation based on department need.
• Operates sterilizer and equipment after proper training.
• Communicates issues to the chain of command and promotes processes.
• Assists with updating surgeon preference cards and OR turnover.
• Engages in quality improvement and strives for high performance.
