Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast in Pasadena, TX, is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Surgical Post-Op team. You will provide patient-centered care on a fast-paced inpatient surgical unit, aligning with state standards and nursing models to ensure outstanding outcomes.

With 3 shifts per week (7p-7a) and rotating weekends, this role offers opportunities for growth, hands-on learning, and collaboration within a nationally recognized health system committed to education and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• BCLS obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN license active in Texas or multistate including Texas.
• 1 year of clinical experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient care and discharge using an interdisciplinary approach.
• Administer medications safely and follow physician orders and hospital policies.

Skills

Basic life support (BLS)

Active Texas RN license

1 year acute care experience

Education

Bachelor’s degree preferred, Associate degree minimum
