Job summary

191 Aurora Medical Center of Oshkosh, Inc. is seeking a Surgical Technologist for Women’s Health and OB Services on a part-time schedule. The role supports sterile field setup, assists surgeons, handles instruments, and ensures room readiness and safety.

0.6 to 0.9 FTE, day shift, 0700-1930 with holiday rotation. Benefits eligible. The incumbent must complete an accredited Surgical Technology program and obtain BLS within 6 months; no prior experience is required.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in Surgical Technology.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 6 months unless exempted.
• No prior experience required.
• Knowledge of aseptic surgical techniques and operating room equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient area for patient care.
• Assist with aseptic preparation, gowning/gloving, and sterile field maintenance.
• Assist in passing instruments and supplies and in positioning of patients.
• Operate and set up OR equipment and supplies for procedures.
• Serve as Second Assistant as needed and communicate equipment/supply issues.
• Transport patients and equipment; ensure complete and available specialty carts.
