Job summary

Concord Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) 2 to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for a group of patients in the department/unit. The RN applies life-span knowledge, conducts clinical judgment, and collaborates with the care team to follow standards and protocols. Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with a NH RN license and BLS is required.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in New Hampshire (NH)
• BSN preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of 1 year clinical nursing experience

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and plan care based on data and clinical judgment.
• Implement nursing care and evaluate patient outcomes.
• Document care provided and patient progress.
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse effects.
• Coordinate with health care team and supervise unlicensed staff as needed.
• Educate patients and families about plan of care and post-discharge steps.
• Lead the care team during assigned shift.
• Serve as resource person and participate in training of new staff.
