Augusta Health in Fishersville, VA invites a Registered Nurse to join the Observation Unit – 1 East. This role focuses on patients requiring short-term monitoring, rapid diagnostics, and timely interventions to support discharge or transition to inpatient care when needed.

The ideal candidate holds a Nursing Diploma or ADN with an active RN license (Virginia or compact state), CPR and ACLS; BSN/MSN preferred. Experience in telemetry, step-down units, or ICU is valued.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma and/or ADN required.
• Current RN license in Virginia or a Compact state.
• CPR and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients requiring short-term monitoring and diagnostics.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team to ensure efficient care delivery.
• Support rapid diagnostics and timely interventions for discharge or inpatient transfer.
• Maintain patient safety, privacy, and accurate documentation.
