Job summary
Banner Gateway Medical Center in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Outpatient Observation Unit. This full-time position covers three 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with self-scheduling for shifts and weekend coverage.
Experience with Magnet-recognized nursing excellence and BSN preferred. You will assess and care for patients, collaborate with the care team, document thoroughly, and support ongoing quality improvement.
Qualifications
- Must possess a current RN license in the state of practice.
- BLS certification required.
- BSN degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and document nursing care for observation patients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop care plans.
- Deliver patient education and discharge planning as appropriate.
- Ensure accurate reporting and charting per policy.
