Job summary

ProMedica Toledo Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Observation department in Toledo, OH. This part-time (24 hours/week) position emphasizes patient-centered care and collaborative teamwork to improve health outcomes.

The RN must hold an active Ohio license and CPR certification. Prior experience on nursing units and a Bachelor’s degree in nursing are preferred. A sign-on bonus of $10,000 is available for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• Current State license as a Registered Nurse.
• Current CPR training.
• Specialty certifications as required by individual nursing units.
• Ohio RN must complete 24 contact hours of continuing education during licensure period.
• At least 1 hour of contact hours related to Chapter 4723 of the Ohio nurse practice code and rules.

Responsibilities

• Assess and formulate a nursing diagnosis and care plan.
• Coordinate care with patient, families and health team through open communication.
• Implement and evaluate the effectiveness of the nursing care plan.
• Collaborate with fellow nurses and support staff to meet patient care goals.
