Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) at ProMedica’s Toledo facility provides patient-centered care within a collaborative team. You coordinate plans of care, assess needs, and implement and evaluate nursing interventions while engaging patients and families in decision-making.

As part of a mission-driven health system, you’ll work with experienced staff to improve patient outcomes, support staff, and contribute to a high-quality care environment in the Observation department.

Qualifications

• Current State license as a Registered Nurse.
• Current CPR training.
• Specialty certifications as required by individual nursing units.
• The RN in Ohio must complete twenty-four contact hours of continuing education during licensure.
• At least 1 hour of contact hours must relate to Ohio nurse practice rules.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care and coordinate the plan of care with patient and families.
• Assess, formulate a nursing diagnosis and plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Collaborate with nurses and support staff to achieve patient care goals.
• Strive to improve patient care, work environment, and staff satisfaction.
