Job summary

ProMedica Toledo Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the night shift in a full-time Resource Pool role. The RN coordinates patient care, communicates with families and health-care teams, and ensures the care plan is effectively implemented and evaluated across participating hospitals.

Requirements include an active RN license in Ohio, CPR certification, and unit-specific specialty certifications. Bachelors in nursing preferred; continuing education hours required by the licensure period.

Qualifications

• Current State license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Current CPR training.
• Specialty certifications as required by individual nursing units.
• Twenty-four contact hours of continuing education during licensure period (Ohio).
• At least 1 hour of CE related to Ohio nurse practice code and rules.
• Tier 3 Resource Pool RN must be available to work at all participating ProMedica hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care plans and communicate with patients, families and health care team.
• Assess patient needs, formulate nursing diagnoses, and plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Collaborate with nurses and staff to achieve patient care goals.
• Contribute to improving patient care environments and staff satisfaction.
