Job summary

Edward Elmhurst Health in Elmhurst, IL seeks a Patient Care Technician for the Critical Care PCCU. The role supports RNs, performs essential patient care tasks, and contributes to patient comfort and safety during day shifts.

Full-time, 36 hours weekly, 7:00 am–7:30 pm with every third weekend and rotating holidays. Requires CPR/BLS, nursing assistant training or clinical rotation, and strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification (American Heart Association BLS).
• Successful completion of an accredited nursing assistant training course or one nursing clinical rotation.
• Completion of Care Companion Course within six months if required by the department.

• Under RN direction, perform patient care tasks and procedures to ensure patient comfort and safety.
