Job summary

Olympia Fields Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver safe patient care in the Observation department. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, working with physicians to monitor patient conditions and outcomes.

The role requires current RN license and BLS; BSN is preferred and ACLS may be required within 30 days of hire. This is a full-time day-shift position in Olympia Fields, IL.

Qualifications

• Current and valid State RN License.
• Current BLS (AHA) certification.
• BSN in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice using the nursing process.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
• Communicate with the physician about changes in patient condition and results of studies.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
