Job summary

First Citizens Bank is seeking a Dynatrace Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Team Lead to drive enterprise observability across a large financial services environment. You will lead a team of six engineers, own platform architecture, deployment, and optimization, and partner with DevOps, SRE, and cybersecurity to deliver actionable insights and improve reliability.

The role requires strong Dynatrace expertise, leadership experience, and a deep understanding of cloud and on-prem hybrid

Qualifications

• 6+ years hands-on Dynatrace in large enterprise environments.
• 8+ years in Application Performance Monitoring, Observability, or SRE.
• Proven experience leading technical teams.
• Strong expertise in Dynatrace deployment, Smartscape topology, and alerting.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of six Dynatrace engineers/analysts.
• Define monitoring standards, alerting, and instrumentation governance.
• Partner with senior leadership to align observability with business goals.
• Provide executive dashboards and incident leadership as needed.
