Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System in Columbus, Ohio, part of Trinity Health, is seeking a Sonographer to perform ultrasound procedures with professional and non-clinical settings.

You will enter charges in RIS, maintain patient safety, and support evidence-based practice while upholding radiology standards.

Qualifications include graduation from an approved ultrasound program and ARDMS or ARRT(S) registration; prior experience preferred; BLS certification required; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Ultrasound program.
• Registered Sonographer by ARDMS or ARRT(S) with abdomen/OB-GYN specialties.
• Prior experience as a Sonographer preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Maintain current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of Ultrasound procedures with optimal image quality.
• Enter online charges in the Radiology Information System (RIS) and ensure accuracy.
• Provide patient care and promote safety, evidence-based practice, and professionalism.
