Job summary

IHA is seeking a Practice Manager to oversee OBGYN locations in Bloomfield Hills and Clarkston, aligning clinical and administrative operations with corporate priorities. You will drive quality of care, patient satisfaction, staff engagement, and financial performance in a day-shift, full-time role.

Working with the Site Medical Director, you will develop a CORE work plan, manage staffing, ensure compliance, and lead continuous improvement initiatives across the practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; 1-2 years of college plus 5+ years experience considered in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum 4 years leadership experience supervising staff; medical office experience preferred.
• Experience with EMR systems and healthcare operations; familiarity with coding/billing helpful.
• Proficient with Excel and office software; strong communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Directs internal practice operations, benchmarks, tracks progress and drives improvements.
• Oversees staff hiring, training, supervision, evaluation and retention efforts.
• Ensures compliance with federal/state regulations and patient safety standards.
• Maintains effective communication with management, staff, patients and vendors.
• Manages financial performance, budgets, and productivity of the practice.
• Participates in new business development and marketing initiatives.
