Job summary

Responsibilities cover patient flow, vital signs, specimen collection, phlebotomy, injections, EKG, and coordination of patient care, along with clerical duties and quality improvement participation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) upon start.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) upon start.

Responsibilities

• Checking schedules and organizing patient flow; recording blood pressure, height, and weight; assisting patients and physicians.
• Prepare patients for examination and treatment; relay instructions to patients and families; answer calls with pertinent information.
• Perform pre-visit planning for vulnerable populations; handle clerical tasks like records and forms.
• Maintain sterile techniques, check equipment, and ensure a clean exam/procedure room; support patient safety and quality improvement.
