Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of clinical practice experience is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) upon start are required.

Responsibilities

• Performs general patient care including checking schedules, patient flow, vitals, assisting exam rooms, assisting physicians and nurses, preparing patients for examination, and relaying instructions to patients and families.
• Performs pre-visiting planning for vulnerable populations as indicated by the physician.
• Handles clerical duties such as managing medical records, lab/x-ray reports, and forms; organizes and scans medical information.
• Maintains sterile technique, clean exam rooms, equipment checks, and adherence to safety protocols.
• Participates in clinic huddles and quality improvement initiatives.
