Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: 1 year of clinical practice experience.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) and Certified Medical Assistant at start.

Responsibilities

• Performs general patient care: check schedules, patient flow, vitals, accompany to exam rooms, assist with procedures.
• Pre-visit planning for vulnerable populations as indicated.
• Clerical tasks: manage medical records, lab reports, referrals, forms and charts.
• Environmental duties: clean/prepare rooms, supply management, equipment checks, adhere to sterile techniques.
• Communicates patient and staff issues to practice manager; participates in clinic huddles and quality improvements.
