Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of clinical practice experience.
• BLS certification is required at start date.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification preferred or required at start.

Responsibilities

• Perform general patient care tasks: check schedules, manage patient flow, record vital signs.
• Assist physicians and nurses during exams and procedures; prepare rooms and supplies.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and support with injections, phlebotomy and specimen handling.
• Maintain patient records, gather chart information, and assist with clerical duties.
• Support with infection control, room cleaning, and equipment servicing per protocol.
