Job summary

North Alabama Shoals Hospital is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) for the OBGYN department. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, supporting patient care with diagnostic procedures, specimen collection, and administrative tasks.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection.
• Monitors and communicates changes in patient condition.
• Documents patient care given.
• Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
• Maintains examination areas.
• Performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
