Atrium Health North Market Network in Mooresville, NC seeks a Medical Assistant for a full‑time role. You will room patients, take vitals, review history and screenings, and support the provider with procedures and lab duties.

You’ll perform POCT and CLIA‑waived tests and administer medications per safety rules. Responsibilities include coordinating referrals, scheduling,保 insurance authorizations, and maintaining a clean, stocked workspace.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a clinical practice setting as a Medical Assistant.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent training.
• BLS/CPR or similar certification may be required depending on location.

Responsabilités

• Adheres to Medical Assistant scope of practice and follows policies.
• Performs rooming/visit tasks: vitals, history, screenings, reconciliation.
• Assists provider with procedures and lab duties including venipuncture.
• Performs point of care testing and CLIA-waived tests per orders.
• Administers medications/vaccines per medication safety rules.
• Handles referrals, scheduling, insurance authorizations, and messaging.
• Maintains clean environment and ensures supplies are stocked.
• Communicates effectively with team and escalates when needed.
