Job summary

Pinewest OB-GYN in High Point, NC is seeking a Medical Assistant to join a busy obstetrics/gynecology team under Atrium Health. You will prepare patients, collect vitals, assist with procedures, and support clinicians in a fast-paced specialty clinic.

The role requires a graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program, current certification, and 1 year of experience preferred. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm with a 40-hour workweek.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Current Medical Assistant certification from listed national bodies.
• 1 year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and rooms the patient for exam, records vital signs and history.
• Assists with procedures such as pelvic exams and minor tests.
• Administers routine medications under orders or protocols.
• Maintains communication with team to ensure clinic flow and patient comfort.
