Advocate Health in Macon, GA is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct patient care according to established standards. You will assist with assessments, participate in planning and implementing the care plan, and support patient education.

Ideal candidates hold an accredited PN program completion and an active LPN license, with strong communication and organizational skills to collaborate with registered nurses and the care team in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
• Active LPN license issued by the state.
• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with EMR and basic computer tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Provides direct patient care according to policies, procedures and standards.
• Assists with assessment by collecting data and reporting changes to RN.
• Assists with developing and implementing the plan of care.
• Supports and reinforces patient teaching per individualized plan.
• Documents nursing interventions and patient responses; communicates changes to RN.
• Communicates changes in medical orders to the RN.
• Performs nursing tasks such as medication administration, IV therapy, wound care, venipuncture.
• Positions and transports patients safely; adheres to proper lifting techniques.
• Provides age-appropriate care and collaborates with the care team.
