Job summary

Innovative Tech Solutions Inc in Auburn Hills, MI, is seeking an OBD and Safety Diagnostic Calibration Engineer to join our automotive diagnostics team. You will develop, calibrate, and validate OBD systems to meet regulatory and OEM standards, and you will support ISO 26262 and AUTOSAR work.

The role involves bench, HIL, and vehicle testing, and collaboration across software, hardware, and systems engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in OBD calibration or automotive embedded systems.
• Familiar with INCA, CANalyzer, CANoe and CAN bus/DTC management.

Responsibilities

• Develop, calibrate, and validate OBD systems to meet standards.
• Calibrate safety diagnostics for ADAS and safety-critical functions.
• Perform bench, HIL, and vehicle testing to verify diagnostics.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, and systems teams to define requirements.
• Document calibration processes and test results for deliverables.
