Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking a seasoned automotive Systems Engineer to lead diagnostics tuning and ISO-26262 compliant validation in Indiana.

You will own the diagnostics process, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure robust validation of engines, powertrain and emission systems, with a focus on model-based development (MATLAB/SIMULINK) and CARB/EPA considerations.

Qualifikationen

• BE or equivalent in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Science with 5+ years in automotive.
• Strong knowledge of systems engineering, engine and powertrain domains.
• Experience with requirement specification and automotive emissions knowledge.
• Experience with calibration tuning and OBD II diagnostics tuning.
• Exposure to Functional Safety ISO-26262.
• MATLAB/SIMULINK experience.
• Model reading skills preferred.
• Certification knowledge (CARB, EPA) optional.

Aufgaben

• Study and analysis of system errors and features.
• Own diagnostics process per client.
• Collaborate with Diagnostic Development Teams to incorporate requirements in OBD Certification documents.
• Tuning and validation of system errors and features.
• Testing and validation per ISO 26262 (FUSA) and at vehicle level.
• Documentation per client standards and functional safety guidelines.
• Present at stakeholders forum.
• Review contents/artifacts for peers.
• Attend daily stand-up/status calls with customers.
• Improve/support to enhance quality of project artifacts.
