Job summary

Northwestern Community Services Board in Virginia is seeking an Office Based Addiction Treatment (OBAT) Coordinator to lead the OBAT program, supervise clinical staff, and ensure high-quality MAT services. The role includes coordinating weekly meetings, supervising diverse clinicians, and driving program development in alignment with organizational priorities.

The coordinator will oversee documentation, training, and external partnerships, while ensuring compliance with DBHDS and DMAS standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree earned from an accredited college or university in a relevant human services field required.
• Certified Addiction Treatment Professional (CATP) required.
• Certified Substance Abuse Counselor Supervisee (CSAC-S) required.
• Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) eligibility required.
• At least one year of experience working with clients with substance use disorders required.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license, a good driving record, and the ability to provide your own transportation.

Responsibilities

• Fosters a professional, respectful, and client-centered environment.
• Supervises the clinical and programmatic activities of OBAT staff.
• Conducts weekly office-based addiction treatment meetings and planning sessions covering: Sublocade injections, missed dose calls, missed appointments, and related regulatory items.
• Performs diagnostic assessments on referrals using ASAM criteria.
• Ensures thorough documentation of treatment in compliance with DMAS regulations and agency standards.
• Facilitates staff training, CSAC supervision, and licensure development.
• Provides clinical supervision to LMHPs, CSACs, Case Managers, and Medical Providers as needed.
• Represents OBAT to external stakeholders and coordinates partnerships with community organizations.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant human services field

Certified Addiction Treatment Professional (CATP)
