Job summary

CHOC Children's in Orange, CA invites an OB Technician to join a new Special Delivery Unit opening Fall 2026. You will work in a multidisciplinary team, assisting in antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum care within the SDU, including potential fetal interventions.

The role requires a Certified Surgical Tech and BLS, with at least one year in OB. You will assist in OR and delivery rooms, uphold quality care, and support family-centered care in a high-energy environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent; Graduate of Surgical Technology program or military training.
• College coursework with Associate or Bachelor's degree (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist in operating room and delivery room as needed.
• Provide quality care according to policies and procedures.
• Work with interdisciplinary team in the Special Delivery Unit.
