George Washington University Hospital is seeking an OB Technician to join the Labor & Delivery team in downtown Washington, DC. This full-time/day position focuses on preparing supplies and instrumentation for surgical cases and assisting the team during procedures.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, room turnover, and supporting the surgical staff in a fast-paced environment. A high school diploma and completion of an accredited surgical technology program are required; CST

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• Completion of an accredited surgical technology program or nursing degree or equivalent.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare supplies and instrumentation for surgical cases.
• Assist surgical team during procedures and anticipate needs.
• Handle case cleanup, patient positioning, and room turnover.
