Job summary

MountainView Hospital in Las Vegas is seeking an Obstetric Surgical Technologist to join a collaborative obstetric surgery team. You’ll prepare the surgical suite, support the team during procedures, and help ensure a safe, compassionate newborn delivery experience.

Position offers access to training and mentorship, predictable scheduling with on‑call support, and pathways for growth within a leading healthcare organization.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Completion of scrub technician course or equivalent.
• Current Basic Life Support
• One year in Labor & Delivery unit, comparable or busier.

Responsibilities

• Preparing the surgical suite and organizing instruments, equipment, and supplies to support safe, efficient procedures
• Assisting with patient positioning, prepping, and draping while maintaining comfort, privacy, and safety
• Providing instruments, equipment, and hands‑on support to the surgical team during obstetric procedures
• Maintaining a sterile field, performing counts, and ensuring instruments and equipment function properly
• Working closely with the surgical team to deliver patient-centered care and a seamless surgical experience

Education

High school graduate or equivalent

Completion of scrub technician course or equivalent

Current Basic Life Support

One year in Labor & Delivery unit, comparable or busier
