Job summary

St Anthony North Hospital in Westminster, CO is seeking an OB Tech to support the Labor & Delivery unit. You will directly and indirectly care for patients, assist with vaginal deliveries, and scrub for surgical procedures as part of a dynamic team.

Role requires BLS, a Colorado Surgical Assistant License or Surgical Technician certification, and a high school diploma or GED. PRN nights and flexible shifts are available to support unit needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Colorado Surgical Assistant License or Surgical Technician certification is required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist in vaginal deliveries under RN and provider direction.
• Scrub as Tech for a variety of surgical procedures.
• Set up sterile tables, instruments, supplies, and meds for procedures.
• Perform counts with circulator before incision and as needed.
• Maintain sterile technique and check packaging and indicators.
• Provide patient care such as comfort, hygiene, transport, and wellbaby care as needed.
