St Anthony North Hospital in Westminster, CO is seeking an OB Tech to support the Labor & Delivery unit. You will directly and indirectly care for patients, assist with vaginal deliveries, and scrub for surgical procedures as part of a dynamic team.
Role requires BLS, a Colorado Surgical Assistant License or Surgical Technician certification, and a high school diploma or GED. PRN nights and flexible shifts are available to support unit needs.
As our OB Tech, you will assist in the smooth daily operations of the Labor & Delivery unit, performing direct and indirect patient care and supporting surgical procedures. Every day you will assist with vaginal deliveries under RN and provider direction, function as a Scrub Tech for surgical procedures, maintain supplies and equipment, and assist with Point of Care Testing and High Level Disinfection equipment. You may also perform patient care duties such as vitals, hygiene, and basic care for antepartum, postpartum, and newborn patients, as well as clerical/business support tasks. To be successful in this role, you will possess strong clinical support skills in OB/GYN settings, meticulous attention to detail in patient care and equipment management, flexibility to perform varied tasks, and a commitment to our organizational mission and core values.
Schedule: PRN-Nights- 1800-0600-Variable Days of the week per volume and current unit needs. TBD during interviews with unit Manager.
Per policy PRN requires a Min availability for 5 shifts in a 6 week schedule block and 2 holidays per yr.
