Sharp HealthCare's Tri-City Medical Center OB Tech role supports Maternal-Child Health by preparing the OBOR, assisting in surgical procedures, and aiding the delivery team. The position requires labor and delivery experience and an AHA BLS certificate, with weekend/on-call expectations.

The OB Tech will help maintain sterile environments, manage instruments, and assist with patient care under RN supervision, contributing to safe deliveries and efficient operating room turnover.

Formación

• Labor and Delivery experience in a surgical setting.
• Current AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.

Responsabilidades

• Maintains safe, clean work environment with infection control adherence.
• Assist surgeon in OB procedures and scrub role for Cesarean Sections, tubal ligations, and related surgeries.
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, setup delivery tables, and support RN/OB staff as directed.
• Responsible for instrument sterilization, set-up and cleanup of OB ORs and Labor & Delivery rooms.
