Job summary

Baptist Health in Conway, AR is seeking an Obstetrical Tech to assist during/after cesarean sections and support patients with daily living activities in the Labor & Delivery unit. You will work under RN supervision, handle basic clerical duties, and help with care of antepartum to delivered patients during night shifts.

Position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, or graduation from a Surgical Technology program.

Qualifications

Summary

In a coordinated approach, the individual is responsible for assisting during/after surgery for cesarean sections, assisting patients with activities of daily living, use and care of special equipment in Labor & Delivery and assisting the RN/LPN in the care of antepartum/laboring/delivered patients. The Obstetrical Tech is responsible for certain clerical and reception duties. All duties are performed in a collaborative approach with unit personnel and under the direction and supervision of the RN.
